The Tate Modern has several collections which are free but also incredible exhibitions at a small cost. The museum also hosts talks and workshops for those more intrigued or those looking to meet others just like them. There is no better way to meet someone than through a love and passion of yours which is displayed through art. Recent developments finished in 2016 through a large structural add on  (The Switch House) makes your wonder through the museum and interesting one. Before becoming a museum known to all and visited by many, this used to be a Bankside Power Station - which closed in 1981. The conversion to become the Tate in 1995 cost 134 million pounds and was completed five years later. To prove its importance, the museum was opened in 2000 by the Queen and since, has received millions of visitors.
