Secret Lagoon

Iceland > The Golden Circle

Why visit the Secret Lagoon?

Smaller, less crowded, much cheaper and definitely less commercialised than the more famous Blue Lagoon, this steaming oasis near the Golden Circle route offers calm and relaxation.

Whatever time of year you're visiting, the Secret Lagoon will be a welcome rest stop. The water temperature stays at 38 to 40 degrees Celsius year-round, and the grounds also have showers, drinks and a snack bar.

Plus, they provide a bunch of pool noodles for floating around on.

The lagoon is located in Flúðir, a tiny village along the Golden Circle route.
