Why hike the Path of the Gods?

Il Sentiero degli Dei (the Path of the Gods) is a scenic 7.8-kilometre (4.8-mile) hiking trail connecting the hilltop town of Agerola with Positano on the Amalfi Coast. The cliffside path, which is marked all along the way, will take you past crumbling buildings, abandoned farmlands and colourful fields of wildflowers.

With its spectacular scenery and fresh ocean air, this once-in-a-lifetime adventure will appeal to nature lovers of all ages. Just make sure you come armed with water and snacks, because you won't find any on the trail.

How difficult is it?

The walk, which takes between two and five hours depending on your route, is only moderately difficult thanks to some uneven terrain and downhill slopes. Unless you're afraid of heights, we're sure you'll love this unforgettable hike.
