Occupying the north part of the Great Britain island, Scotland is a nation rich in history, knee-deep in culture and overflowing with a certain feeling of bewilderment in every soul who comes to visit. Blessed with some of Europe's most scenic landscapes dotted with mountains and lochs (lakes), there are very few things that Scots don't take exceptionally seriously.

That chocolate bar that most people the world over see looking at them as they approach the checkout at the supermarket? That, my friends, is a national delicacy when deep-fried in batter. You read that right. Oh and there is more! Not a fan of offal? Refusal to eat Haggis is a crime punished by death. Or something very close to death - perhaps an angry scotsman educating you in the use of obscure and obscene vocabulary.
